The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad
In 1961-62 former Punjab Agricultural College and Research Institute, Lyallpur upgraded and it became The Universityof Agriculture, Faisalabad. This it does by amalgamating the parts of education, study and extension. There are six faculties in the University of Agriculture, a constituent college, one Division of Education and Extension, one sub-campus and numerous institutions affiliated with the Agriculture University. This university is on peak in all Universities In Faisalabad.
National Textile University Faisalabad 
With the funds of the textile sectors and industries National Textile University Faisalabad came into being as Textile Technology Institute In 1959. In 1976, the institute was promoted to a college and given the name National College of Textile Engineering. After that this college was given university grade and named National Textile University Faisalabad
Government College University Faisalabad 
A municipal middle School is the base of GCU that was started in 1897. then upgraded in 1905 into a high school from a building in Karkhana bazaar Faisalabad that now known as Government College for women. The provincial government took over the management of this institute and in 1916 moved it to the present location and became the college in 1924, in 1933 I became degree college and after that the post graduate college in 1963. Still, after that up gradations, it didn’t stop the journey to get more achievement and then it gained the status of Government College University Faisalabad
The University of Faisalabad 
In 2002, The University of Faisalabad was established under the auspices of Madina Foundation. It’s a “not for profit” humanitarian association in the luminosity of the revelation “Industry, Welfare, Education” of its organizer chairman. He made this facility available for providing praiseworthy tutoring in certified areas to assemble the educational requirements of the people in and around the city Faisalabad. The University has two campuses the one is Saleem Campus for female students and second one is Amin Campus for males. Saleem Campus is located on Sargodha Road, Faisalabad near motorway interchange while Amin Campus is located on West Canal Road, Faisalabad.
